Hi, I am Bethan Thomas. I am an energetic and enthusiastic Personal Trainer and Rowing Coach based in Henley on Thames. I believe I have a unique approach to fitness. I am only too aware of how busy and stressful life can be and how little time seems to be left over for looking after our most precious asset — our body! I can motivate, change habits, build confidence, improve your health and make fitness fun.
Since graduating from Durham University in 2006 with a degree in Sport I qualified as a Personal Trainer and have worked in the fitness industry in both the UK and Australia. I have extensive knowledge and experience in private clients health and fitness needs including nutrition, weight loss, strength, endurance and flexibility.
I have been involved in rowing for over 15 years and I am extremely passionate about the sport. I have benefited greatly from rowing at high performance centres such as Durham University and Melbourne University as well as at club level at Henley Rowing Club. In 2005 I qualified as a Level 2 British Rowing Coach and have spent two seasons in Australia coaching to a National Level.
The experience I have gained through my involvement in rowing has taught me how to train my clients efficiently and effectively, both on and off the water. No matter what your goals are, whether it is to run a marathon, to get up the stairs without being out of breath, weight loss, aerobic fitness, strength, flexibility or body toning, all your health and lifestyle goals can be achieved with a tailor made programme designed exclusively for you.
